My name is Ambrose. I was born under the star sign cancer. I am a black (mixed race) trans man who lives in the midwest. I use he/him, and I'm bisexual. Anyways, in addition to being a furry and a therian, I love vampires, jazz music, goth stuff and lots of horror media. I plan on becoming a successful novelist in the future!
As for being vampirekin, I realized that I was vampirekin a few years after I dropped being werewolfkin (I was kinning werewolves since I could remember, but I stopped when I was about 19). That's when I started really getting into vampires, but I didn't consider myself one. I don't know why though. I stuck with werewolves for a long while, and had a Tumblr sideblog dedicated to werewolf content and other things of that nature.
I made my vampirekin-ity official in the last few days of February 2024. I've been collecting Vampire Blood incense, trying to remember to keep my nails painted black, and engaging with vampiric media. It's fun! I also have been listening to goth music and dress in goth clothing. In late August of 2024 I started looking into vampyre communities online, however I will prefer the spelling "vampire" because I'm a kinnie. I also identify with lots of xenogenders (vampiregender flag i stole from a HP fan featured here), which are basically just aesthetic genders. I just do it for fun! Feel free to ask me about them!
